Who we are

This website is run by Rebellion Nexus Ltd, a company in the United Kingdom. We decide how the personal information described here is used. For anything about your personal information, email [email protected].

What our website does

We don't collect visitor information through forms, analytics or tracking tools. Our hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website (see below). The website itself:

Our host, Cloudflare

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect the website from attacks, Cloudflare handles technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages you request. It does this partly on our behalf and partly for its own purposes of running and securing its network, as its privacy policy explains.

Our plan gives us no access to records of individual visits, and Cloudflare does not publish how long it keeps them for websites on our plan.

Depending on the security checks required, Cloudflare may set essential security cookies (__cf_bm, which expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and cf_clearance, after a security check). These are used for website security, not advertising or marketing. More in our cookies notice.

Cloudflare is based in the United States, so this information may be processed there. For transfers from the UK to the United States, Cloudflare relies on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and otherwise on standard contractual clauses.

Protecting our email address

Cloudflare scrambles our email address in the page's code, so that programs which collect addresses for spam cannot read it, and adds a small script that turns it back into a readable address for you. The script is served from our own web address. We have read it: it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. Like every other request to the website, the request for it is handled by Cloudflare as our host.

If you email us

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use them to understand your enquiry and reply to you.

Our email is provided by Microsoft 365, which stores it for us. Microsoft explains where it stores information and how it protects it in its own privacy and data protection terms.

We may use AI tools to help understand enquiries and prepare responses. Where we do, we limit the personal information shared to what is necessary. The AI providers used may include OpenAI and Anthropic, which are based in the United States, so this information may be processed there. We have set these tools so that the information is not used to train their AI models.

We keep emails for up to two years after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer as business records.

Why we may use this information

We rely on our legitimate interests: keeping the website available and secure, and dealing with enquiries people send us. We use only the information we need for them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and object to how we use it. Some of these rights apply only in certain situations, for example we may need to keep information that the law requires us to keep, and we will explain if we cannot do what you ask. You can also ask us for details of the safeguards used when your information is sent outside the UK. We will reply within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
